Hi there! I'm Lorie. I'm scheduled to have lap band surgery in Alma, Michigan in December -- the insurance claim is being submitted today. Let's hope they hurry, or I may be a patient in 2011, instead! Yikes!
I signed up here because my husband highly recommended this site as a resource for weight loss. I chose to do the lap band instead of the RNY because I want to lose weight at a slower pace and because I have concerns about major surgery. Call me crazy, but I like my intestines and I want em to stay right where they are!
I'm excited to join and hope to learn a lot from those who have gone before me and maybe make a few friends along the way.
