Hello...My name is Joanna. I am going to be 20 on September 23rd and I am waiting for approval for my surgery. That is where I am right now.
I was pretty normal size as a child until was about 7 years old. I had my tonsils removed and after that I discovered that it did not hurt to swallow and I started to enjoy my food more. As the years passed by, my mother and I have tried all different kinds of diets...acupunture, nutritionist, Jenny Craig, LA Weightloss, Weight Watchers, you name it we tried it. While all those methods worked for me temporarily, the weight slowly crept back on and I gained it back and some.
