ok, so i get a call from the sleep study place out of the blue...I had no idea i had to do that prior to surgery...so i freaked for a sec cuz its kinda freaky no? i mean sleeping with people watching u? also because noone informed me that I might have to do this...ok,ok so anyway I make the appt for Sat nite 10 pm....then i had to download 20 pages of paperwork including a form stating that if I cancelled it would be a $200.00 fine not covered by insurance! ... so I fill all of it out sign my sig about 5 times and then I am at work Sat and get a call around 3pm...guess who/? sleep study!..guess why? TO  CANCEL!...ARRGH... so I asked the guy if that meant that they now owe me $200.00!...uuuuh he said uhh well, ummm no....really?  shocker lol
go figure....

Hi Guys..ok, so my tests were completed on Monday and my one on one with Dr. LePort... was on Tuesday... I got a100% on my little test they had me take... on my actual knowledge of what i am in for after surgery...funny, the receptionist told me, most miss one specific question...true or false= Vomiting is a normal occurrence after WLS....FALSE! is the correct answer lol....anyway, Havent heard back as far as results from my labs and upper G.I. , so I will assume all is well.... 22 more sleeps til my surgery!!!! I am so excited and scared at the same time... I pray daily for 0 complications... i want this so bad... I dont want to ever regret this decision... I just have to trust that I am living in Gods will... i am totally obsessed with all of you out there who have recently come thru...I check daily for updates on how you are feeling, etc...i am so grateful for all of you who have gone before me, to show me the way....

Update... My surgery is scheduled for Sept 3rd... 37 days away!....Today is Sunday July 27th and i find myself in the midst of moving .and packing, and packing...did I mention packing??? but my bff from vegas is in town and she helped me alot last night... I am having movers move me so the chore is just packing... but it all seems overwhelming... One good thing is that time has been flying by while I panic and worry about the move... Tuesday i will be  all moved in and then the task willl be to get my space comfy and ready for recovery after my RNY..I am taking off work 4 weeks if all goes well.. and I really need the break! ..I know its not going to be fun, because I just had surgery, but I would love to just be able to sleep for 2 weeks!..seriously...life has been really crazy this past year and i want to rest!... and get skinny doing it! lol...God i pray for no complications...my fears are that I will get a blod clot and die...I made the mistake of reading the memorials again...ugh..its so sad and scary.. I know the statistics, and they are sooo in my favor... But I just want this so bad..Its hard to believe that the day will come where I weigh under 200 lbs...Anyway....on the bright side... after I get off work today, me and my bff are going to Burke Williams for massages!!!! yaymmmm I cant wait... the coolest part obout this spa is that the robes are all  SIZE 10X!! THEY FIT! EVEN ME AT 330!!!!.... so massage tonight..more packing tomorrow, and then move Tuesday...Then next week Aug 4th and 5th i have my upper GI and lab work..and then tuesday is my pre-surgery meeting with Dr.Leport....Ill keep you all posted..

THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING!...WOW...OK, SO I GOT THE CALL FROM BRANDY AT DR. LEPORTS OFFICE TODAY!...SHE RECEIVED THE CONFIRMATION FROM MONARCH AND EVERYTHING IS A GO!!!...I AM VERY EXCITED... I CANT WAIT...MY ONE ON ONE IS IN AUGUST  AND I STILL HAVE TO SCHEDULE TESTS...I WILL BE VERY BUSY IN ULY GETTING READY FOR MY MOVE TO LONG BEACH.....IN BETWEEEN MY 60 HOUR A WEEK  JOB...SO HOPEFULLY TIME WILL FLY BY....MIRACLES NEVER CEASE....THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT LOVELIES..

LETS ALL THANK MY EMPLOYER=)..YES, THEY CHANGED INSURANCE COMPANIES IN THE MIDST OF MY JOURNEY=)...SO HERE GOES....NOT SO BAD ACTUALLY...ok, so i am journaling all of this as a record of what is to come, what I have been told and how its all going down... First... went online today as I was told my new member # from Aetna could be found there...I found it! and then I called Aetna  spoke to Belle to confirm that my surgery will be covered just as it was from healthnet.... Monarch had already approved my surgery with Healthnet as the provider and I AM slated for September 3rd.... My Aetna Insurance shows effective June 1st... so I called Monarch spoke to Maria to make sure it will just be a matter of switching the provider to Aetna.  She said she sent an email to the  verification dept changing my provider from healthnet to aetna and asking for an updated approval with aetna as the current provider...she said as long as there is no lapse of coverage between healthnet and aetna...WHICH THERE ABSOLUTELY ISNT! I SHOULD HAVE EVERYTHING SCHEDULED AND MOVING FORWARD AS PLANNED!!!! I AM STILL HESITANT TO GET EXCITED ..ALTHOUGH...YES,... I BELIEVE ALL WILL GO AS PLANNED...WOW... ITS HARD TO BELIEVE THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING...BUT YES,  I  DO BELIEVE...THIS IS REALLY GOING TO HAPPEN!.....YAYAYAYAYA WOO HOO YIPPEE...PLEASE LORD, LET IT ALL GO OVER SMOOTHLY...AND INBETWEEN CALLING AETNA AND MONARCH, I MADE A CALL TO DR. LEPORTS OFFICE...ONCE AGAIN- MY GO TO GIRL BRANDY- WAS NOT THERE, BUT I HAVE LEARNED TO GO AROUND HER, SO I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH THE SURGERY SCHEDULER ANGELA TO LET HER KNOW THAT I HAVE THE MEMBER # AND BLAH BLAH...ONCE AGAIN SHE WAS ON THE PHONE,....SO I LEFT A VOICE MAIL AND ASKED FOR HER TO CALL ME BACK... SO WE SHALL SEE WHO CALLS WHO FIRST...I WILL WAIT TIL FRIDAY BECAUSE MARIA FROM MONARCH TOLD ME TO CHECK BACK THEN- TO SEE IF ALL THE INFO SHE EMAILED HAS BEEN POSTED AS A GO...TO THE SYSTEM.... AFTER I RECEIVE THE CONFIRMATION FROM THEM I WILL CALL ANGELA AGAIN TO LET HER KNOW THE SURGERY HAS ONCE AGAIN BEEN APPROVED THRU MONARCH WITH AETNA AS THE PROVIDER...... OK, SO UPDATE...WELL, I TOLD MY BOSS I SCHEDULED SURGERY FOR SEPT 3RD...SHE SAID THAT WAS FINE....I AM STILL FRUSTRATED OVER HAVING TO CHANGE MY DATE FROM AUG 11TH TO SEPT 3RD ...BUT I AM GETTING INTO ACCEPTANCE..... THE FRUSTRATION IS COMING FROM THE FACT THAT I AM MISERABLE RIGHT NOW... I WENT ON OPTI-FAST, (SORT OF) THINKING THAT MY DATE WOULD BE ALOT SOONER... SO THE PAST 2 WEEKS I HAVE PRETTY MUCH BEEN EATING WHATEVER I WANT...NOT GOOD...NO BUENO...BAD NAYNAY LOL..NOT KIDDING! I AM SO SICK OVER WHAT I AM DOING TO MYSELF BUT I WONT SEEM TO STOP,... I WONT SAY CANT BECAUSE I COMPLETELY REALIZE THAT IT IS A CHOICE...I GUESS THAT IS WHY I THOUGHT I SHOULD BLOG...MAYBE IF I REREAD WHAT I AM WRITING I CAN GET A GRIP ON MY BAD BEHAVIOR... I WANT TO BE HEALTHY, MAKE HEALTHY CHOICES, AND LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST... 2 AND HALF MORE MONTHS TIL SURGERY AND I KNOW I CAN DO ALOT OF DAMAGE... I WANT TO LOSE NOT GAIN IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS... ANYWAY....THE OTHER ISSUE IS MY INSURANCE...HAD HEALTHNET...APPROVED BY HEALTHNET AND NOW HAVE AETNA,,...APPARENTLY EFFECTIVE AS OF JUNE 1ST...BUT DO I HAVE A MEMBER # YET? NO..DO I HAVE A REFERENCE #? NO. DO I HAVE A GROUP #???? NO!!!!! AAAAAAAH IT IS MAKING ME NUTS....OH THE OPTI-FAST LADY JUST CALLED ME HAHAHA RIGHT NOW IN THE MIDST OF TYPING THIS... OK, SO YESTERDAY I GET CALLED INTO THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY I WORK FOR , AND SHE PROCEEDS TO TELL ME THAT MY COMPANY NEEDS ME HERE THE MONTH OF AUGUST..... MY SURGERY WAS SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 11TH=(...I NEEDLESS TO SAY WAS DEVASTATED.. SO SEPTEMBER IT IS... SHE SAYS AFTER SEPT 8TH... SO I CALL MY SURGEONS OFFICE TO RESCHEDULE... MY SURGEON IS GOING TO BE OUT OF THE COUNTRY FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER AND THE ONLY DATE AVAILABLE IS SEPTEMBER 3RD.... I SCHEDULED IT... NOW I HAVE TO TELL MY BOSS... UGH UGH UGH UGH.... I WANT THIS SO BAD IT HURTS...

SEPT 3RD......THIS WILL BE SURGERY DATE # 3....ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED DATE WAS AUGUST 4TH TO AUGUST 11TH AND NOW...SEPTEMBER 3RD..... I HOPE THIS WILL BE THE FINAL DATE... YEAH, SEPTEMBER 3RD IS A GREAT DATE  FOR SURGERY!....
