Lets see I faxed my OOC paperwork to OHIP on Dec 1/08 and just kept waiting to hear something cause they told me It could take from 4 to 6 weeks to get approval. Well a purlator truck pulled in front of my house on Jan 21/09 and I got a letter it wasn't the one I was hoping for, turn out Ohip asked for more information on Dec 5/08 with no response and than again they asked on Dec 24/08 and of course again they got nothing, so they sent me the letter and my doctor to say that since he doesn't seem to want to send them the information they are going to with draw my application. Can we say I was beyond mad. I called his office right away and talked to his nurse who said that she got the letter and we need to send the information out. So I went to his office the next day where he did fill out the paperwork for more information but marked NO in both the death and damage box,,,,, grrrrrrrrrr So than I asked him to send me to see an Endo doc and set up the sleep test he didn't listen. I left there totally fustrated and upset. I came home and talked to a friend of mine who is also going through this and we did some research together. I than went back on friday to the clinic that he was working at with Doctors names and numbers and the same for the sleep clinic.......lol wasn't giving him the chance to say no this time, so he agreed to set things up for the sleep clinic and set me up for all kinds of other test too and than once we get those results he will send me to a Endo, which in turn I felt a whole lot better.
