I have to say I feel my worse when I wake up, I'm not sure if it because all my insides get squished at night. It does go away after I walk around some. Good News today is I lost 3 lbs. I gained almost 16 lbs in the hospital I guess with the gas and fluids into me. It was a little disheartening when I got home and weighed more than when I went in. I am going in the right direction and I am so excited about my new journey.

day 3 post-op my joruney has just begun

Well today is day 3 post-op lap RNY. I thank God that some of my gas has passed. I feel better today than yesterday. My gas pain has moved out of my neck and into my shoulders. The gas in the lower abd is better. Not so much diarrhea today but I had that from the Upper GI stuff I drank Tuesday morning. I just found out what my ideal weight is 138 lbs. That means I need to loose 201 lbs. I still don't see how that is possible, even with all the before and after pics it still seems unreal to me but I can't wait for it to be a reality. I hope I feel better every day.

I am 2 days post op Laperscopic RNY still in alot of pain

Well it is done. I had laperscopic RNY on 3/16/09. I came home from the hospital last night. It was a rough night at home. I am in alot of pain, I think from the gas they pumped into me durning surgery. I am very brusied. I am haveing trouble passing the gas and I hurt from my lower belly all the way up to my neck. I got up same day of surgery and walked. I wonder if I over did it. I just wish I could get rid of this gas. If anyone has any sugestions to get rid of the gas I would love to hear it. I just keep telling myself this to shall pass.
