4 years to the day that I had RNY in order to be able to have a child  I gave birth to the most perfect little boy.  I can't express how much joy he has brought me.  Surgery changed my life in more ways than just losing the weight.  Without question it was the best decision I have ever made.  I still need to lose another 25 lbs to get back to my goal but if that doesn't happen all I have to do is look at my son and I know that the weight isn't important. As long as I'm healthy for him everything will be GREAT!!

It's been 3 weeks and I feel amazing. I've been walking everyday and have finally started eating solid foods. Been a guessing game at what works for me right now and what don't but otherwise everything is wonderful. I am very happy with my decision to go throught with the surgery. I've lost about 25 pounds so far and my friends say they see a difference in me already. I just hope everything stays on the same path as it is right now.

I finally have my surgery date.  I can't wait only 2 months to go.  Would have been sooner but family is going to be here so I had to schedule it around them.  My husband is so excited.  We will finally be able to live the lives that we want and start a family when he gets home.  How could things get any better than this.
