8 days till surgery

Just joined the message board.....
Sunday morning....Feeling indifferent at this point but that can change at any moment. The tears come on out of nowhere sometimes. I have been heavy since I was 3 yrs old my mother tells me. I was teased and hurt by many when I was younger but it truthfully made me a much stronger woman.
Wondering how it is possible to be on a liquid diet 5 days before surgery? How does one survive that while everyone around you is eating normal and I am expected to cook dinners for them? I can understand after surgery but man b4hand is gonna be the worst. HELP!
