I spoke to Terra's Mom tonight 5-2-00 She said Terra has been sitting up in bed a few times today and of course she's sore but seems to be doing well. God Bless You Terra! We love you! You made it Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!

5-2-00 Talked to Dorothy Mayes again today she said Terra was not coming out from under the anestesa well and had not been up. Hopes she will be better tomorrow. Will ask Dorothy about her again tomorrow.

I just wanted to let everyone know Terra is doing fine. I had called the hospital to check on Dorothy Mayes and she wanted to let everyone know that Terra is just down the hall from her and said all went well with her surgery.

Hi Terra- Well just a few more short days and we'll be on the second floor across the hall from each other. Just think we'll be having I.V. races up and down the halls those poor nurses better rest up now cause we're on our way, and Dr. Compton better take a double Flintstone vitamin and schedule Tuesday off to recoup.hehehe Dorothy in Tn. openrny 5/1/00

Hey Terra, I met you at Dr.C's office a week ago thursday in a meeting, I was the one that was so depressed thinking that he may not do the surgery on me. Well, I know you have surgery Monday, and I just wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and I know everything will go great, just think, you are now where I want to be, on my way in to start anew life. My hat is off to ya girl, you are well on your way to a newlife. I will be looking for updates on you so good luck honey. Love Lisa

Terra, So sorry that your date was pushed back. I really know the disappointment that you are feeling! The time will fly by and I hope you don't end up like me...2.5 hours until I have to leave for the hospital & I haven't been to bed...Oh well too much to do and I will have plenty of time to rest later! Take care. I was excited that I updated the file to list me as your angel. I will try my best to be there for you, like a good angel should! LOL
