Since my last post Ive been back to see the doctor. I went to see him in april, and found out that my insurance wont pay for the surgery. Im currently trying to get disability. Ive been trying for 30 months now, and I have a hearing in a couple of weeks. If I get disability I will be immediatly eligible for medicare, and I think they pay for surgery. Im planning on calling the doctors office and finding out how they deal with medicare.

I went to the informational class at dr pennings office on 1/23/07, and it just made me want to get the surgery even more. My husband, Jason, Is behind me all the way, and im so thankful for that. Im going to send out my paperwork on Monday, and hopefully get an inital consult soon. Im over 60 bmi, so im going to have to loose some weight before he will do the surgery. Maybe the optifast system will work for that?
