Elizabeth, I am SO glad you got tested for your sleep apnea and got your CPAP prior to your surgery. My friend, Ginger Brewster, who is on the memorial page of this website, died because she had the surgery with undiagnosed/untreated sleep apnea. Please be sure that they take precautions for you having sleep apnea with your surgery. Best of Luck to you for a safe and successful surgery.

Elizabeth- CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! I know how excited you are. I broke down and cried when the insurance company finally gave their approval. My surgery is scheduled for June 2. The wait is hard so be prepared. I wish you the best of luck!!!
