I SPOKE WITH MY NURSE AND MY SURGERY IS SET FOR 10:00 AM ON 8/24/09--MY MOTHER S'S BIRTHDAY. SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN 60 ON THE 24TH.  THAT HAS TO BE FATE SHE IS MY SPECIAL ANGEL.

WILL CHECK IN AFTERWORDS.

I had my big weigh today.  I need to loose 15 pounds by 8/20.  I have worked very hard, walking 4 times a day, not cheating on the Opti Fast drinks and no pops.  I had no other drinks but water and non-carbonated waters. 

I was very upset when I had not lost or gained in 7 days.  The nurse suggested I get measured and low and behold
I have lost 12 1/2 inches total.  I lost 3 in the stomach and 3 in the waist the other in the arms, legs, thighs and breast.
I Was relived but must increase my exercise besides walking this week.

Tuesday 7/28/09  I have my taste test, EKG and start my 1200 calorie diet.
I must loose 1 pound by Thursday 7/30/09.  I will met with Dr. Sloan and have
my first group meeting. I will start my Opti Fast drinks on Friday 7/31/09
and my surgery is not until 8/24/09 I can do it I am just planning ahead.

Received the call today 
Surgery date 8/24/2009

 
        My insurance specialist from Dr. Sloan's office faxed my papers over to Anthem on 6/29/2009.
Anthem states it will take around 16 days or so.  Anthem has been a big but in my life. I am looking for
an approval and wont take no for answer this time.

I had my last doctor appt with my doctor on the six month diet that Anthem
stated I had to complete.  I did not loose what I wanted Anthem because I
need the Lap Band help!!!!!!!!!.
I hope to hear good news in two-three weeks.

Today is a rainy and long day.  When I file again with Anthem they don't give me any problems.  I have just 2 more
doctor appointments.  I which I had lost more weight on the diet but it was hard with all the long hours at work. 
I am looking forward to being banded soon.

I am trucking along waiting for my next Doctor visit this month.
I think I have lost around 5 more pounds and maybe some inches.
I cant wait until the 6 month is over with(should be June 2009).

To all waiting for surgery keep your heads up high

ANTHEM PENDED MY CASE TODAY, THEY WANT A  6 MONTH DIET
MY DOCTOR'S WERE ALL HOPING THAT I COULD SKIP THAT PROCESS.
THE ANTHEM PEOPLE I SPOKE WITH TODAY WERE NASTY AND DID NOT
CARE AT. DR. SLOAN'S OFFICE HAS A COUPLE CALLS IN BEFORE WE MOVE
ON.
