My story is like most stories. I have been overweight my entire life. My mom and dad did everything they could to help me. They got me involved in activities, cooked healthy food, took me to dieticians but nothing lasted long. I would lose weight and then gain it back plus some. I tried phentermine and it was a life saver. I lost 100 lbs and was finially living life. Well I got pregnant and gained 80 lbs and was never able to get it off again after that. I just want to live a happy, healthy and fulfilling life. I have two wonderful boys that active and I would love to be active with them. I'd love to go to an amusement park and be able to ride rides with them. I'd love to not always have to take a break. I'd love to be able to cross my legs. Just the simple things in life. I have contemplated surgery for many many years but my insurance would never cover it. That is still the case today but thanks to my wonderful parents, great doctor and my insurance paying for my hernia repair I only have to pay a small portion. I am excited and nervous about the life after being sleeve. I am ready to be healthy and ready to be more than "just a pretty face."
