My name is Charquis Williams Jackson I am 6 years post op I had gastric bypass on march 20 ,2002 I woke up from surgery In no pain had no complications thank God...I am a newly wed married a wonderful guy who liked me before surgery and I'm a mother of two beautiful kids WC is 11 and Manija is 1 I lost 116 pounds only to gain half back over the years especially since my last child I just moved to Georgia from Miami Florida and lookin to have a revision to get back into my size 10 now I wear a size 16 18 and it sucks that I lost all this weight and gained most back I feel like a failure here it is Im blessed to have been givin this chance and I screwed up now i cant loose a pound to save a life. many people looked up to me as a role model and i feel
I let them down, maybe it was the lack of supervision I recieved my Doctor moved back to new york after my surgery and i was thrown to another doctor who only wanted you to come in if there was a problem so I basicly did it on my own but this time around im gonna make sure I have the right people around me showin me the way to go. I have not been on here in such a long time but when your loosing you see how life is on the the thinner happier side and you never stay home I want that back now i dont do any thing that I used to do because Im shame of how I look but by the grace of God and my friends at OH I will get through this once more.
