Aug 15, 2010

What can I do to jump start my weight loss. I'm 31/2 months out and I've only lost like 50 pounds. I've lost that amount of weight before in that amount of time without the weight loss...:o(...what can I do to kick start my weight loss. I'm getting plenty of protein, but my water intake is up to about 48 oz. working on my way to 64 ounces, but this is one of my challenges. I think I'm sabotaging myself!!! Help!! am I putting too much in the amount lost? I don't know but I read others blogs and they have surpassed me for those that had their surgery around the time I did...I don't know what to do, I feel like all this (surgery) was done for nothing and I don't want it to be for nothing!! Help!!

I'm 6wks post-op and I'm 35lbs down...does this seem slow?

Jun 07, 2010

I'm just getting an average to see if 35lbs in 6 weeks is slow for the average weight loss patient. I'm gaging whether or not I need to add or take away something. I'm proud that I did this surgery, because it is giving me my life back, my SELF back!!! There are soo many stories, I can't read them all. But I appreciate your comments.

Today is a better day than yesterday! :o)

Jun 03, 2010

Today I have not struggled with my diet!! You know the "what do I eat today". I was told I'm not getting enough protein, and that I need to up my protein and water intake. My challenge: Get protein that I can handle!! I tried the muscle milk today, and that has my stomach doing cartwheels. I'm trying to get off the artificial sweetner kick, as they make me really hungry and it just doesnt make since to put all those chemicals in your body especially after getting another chance at eating healthy!

So my quest for today is to find protein! not in shake or milk or pudding form.

I'm not going to beat myself up when I mess up on my diet either. Tomorrow is a new day, brush yourself off and start the day off right.

Today is a better day than yesterday!!

I've lost 35 pounds so far, but I think I could have lost a lot more, it I can master this. Any suggestions? Have any of you experienced this? What did you do and what was the solution? Can't wait to see the responses!!
