Be on the watch out for girlurugly1.......this person has NOTHING better to do than to leave nasty messages on blogs.
Whomever this person is, he/she is just trying to make me feel bad about myself and guess what U DID NOT SUCCEED. I spent 8 years of my life with a husband who belittled me because of my weight, and I have opened my eyes and have taken control of my self-esteem and neither this person or anyone will EVER put me down AGAIN. I am strong.......I am proud, and I am not ashamed that I had gastric bypass. I look DAMN good considering what I looked like 1 year ago. People who take the time to leave messages that are not nice, have nothing better to do with their time and they MUST be lacking the same self-esteem I was lacking over 8 years ago...... Grow up and get a life.........

Well, it's been a while since I have written. I have been so busy at home and at work and haven't had the time to get on here and update, so today I took the time to do so. I have A LOT of photos to share. :-)
As for me and Wayne, it didn't work out, so I am moving on. C'est la vie! ;-) (that's life, in French)
Here are the photo's I took. One is my before picture, before the surgery and then one is 1 year later in the SAME clothes. Notice, I got both legs into the one pant leg! AMAZING!!
On March 10th, I went to my company's Annual Spring Fling party, so I am posting a few on here. 2 are of just me and then the other one is of me and my Best Friend Jami, who was my date. Don't we look great?? YES WE DO!! ;-)
I hope you all enjoy my pictures. I feel great and I am maintaining my weight at 138-143......thats good. My 1 year appointment with Dr. Moazzez went well and I don't have to go see him until August. He says I am doing GREAT and I look AMAZING! ;-)
I thank the lord every day that he gave me the chance to change my health and make me better. The surgey was the best thing I could have done for myself and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Not thoughts about it.
I love my "NEW LIFE" as I put it. I AM TRULY HAPPY NOW! ;-)
Enjoy the pictures, and I will post more as I get them uploaded. Right now, I don't have any others to add.

Well, it's been 3 weeks and I have been seeing this guy named Wayne, I went to HS with, and he was a mutual friend of my ex-husband and I when we were married. My ex-husband and Wayne haven't spoken in like 3-4 years so they aren't really friends anymore.....I've always been attracted to him, and I guess the time is right now. I am so excited!!! :-)
He has a little girl named Ryann, she is so adorable and sweet and he is such a great dad. I enjoy spending time with them. I think we are pretty much a "thing" now. Even though my ex-husband opposes this relationship, but I told him it didn't matter to me, he can't tell me who I can and can't see since we weren't married anymore....he didn't like that. He's mad because he considers Wayne his friend still.......but they aren't according to Wayne. Michael (my ex) is just upset becuase I am FINALLY moving on!! :-)
We'll see how it goes. I just wanted to add this to my page.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ME!!
Today is my 1 year anniversary. I did it!! :-) I am so proud of myself. I now weigh 140.2 pounds and I feel GREAT. Wow! I never thought in a million years 1 year ago, I'd have lost over 100 pounds, but I did it.
I'll post my 1 year pictures this weekend once I get them uploaded. I saved my clothes from my before pictures so I could take before and after pictures. It's AMAZING! I look fantastic! :-)

I weighed myself this weekend and I lost another 3 pounds. So now I weigh 143.6. I am in the process of toning up now, so I am sure I will gain a few pounds due to muscle.
I don't have any other pictures to post, I am waiting for my 1 year photos. I will post them in February. I can't wait. :)

Happy New Year!! YIPEEE!! I can't believe next month will be my 1 year anniversary!! I am so excited!! I reached my goal at only 10 months out and am maintaining it so far. I won't see Dr. Moazzez until February 28th...so I have a while. I have uploaded my January Picture, but not my goal pictures yet. I will try and post them this weekend.

December 29th, 2006 - I REACHED MY GOAL

Today I am proud to say I REACHED MY GOAL of losing 100 pounds!!!!!!!!
I am so excited. I never thought I'd get there, let alone reach it before my 1 year anniversary.
I now weigh 146. It's hard to believe that almost 1 year ago I weight 246 pounds!! I was in a size 22-24 and now I am in a size 8-10. Unbelieveable!!!
I will post pictures once I get them downloaded.
Here are my goal pictures!!! I LOST 100 POUNDS......

Well it has been about a month since I last updated. I have been very busy....I moved into my own place and have been suffering with some migraines, so I am back on my feet now and able to update my profile.
I have taken October and November pictures and will post them in a few days once I get them uploaded to my computer.
It is almost 10 months since I had my WLS. I am so excited...I have gained a few here and there and lost it, but it will be hard during these 2 holidays - Thanksgiving and Christmas, but I am determined to lose the last 10 to make my goal of losing 100 pounds so I can get one of those nifty cards......on my page. :-)
I go to the doctor next week.....hopefully all will be fine. I had to increase my iron and Vitamin C because it was low. They had me get Vitron C. We'll see how it goes.

Well I weighed myself this morning, and I weigh 156.2!!!! YIPEE!! Only 10.2 to go until I reach my goal!! I am so excited. I also am happy because I can wear a size 8!!! My mom had the surgery about 3 years ago and so now we can share clothes, so she had this jean skirt she wanted me to try on, and I tried it on and it fit.....I was like WOW!! a size 8...I was so shocked. Never in a million years would I have thought I'd be in a size 8......
