My name is Christin. I married the most amazing man on the planet and gave birth to two of the most wonderful children. I am currently in the bariatric program at reliant medical. Hoping and praying to have surgery. I am 30 and feel like 60!! I have been recently diagnosed with high blood pressure and told I am pre diabetic. I have asthma and restrictive lung disease. My pulmonary doc recently advised me that if i didn't quit smoking and lose weight that I would be on oxygen by 35 and not see much past 45. Well.... time for some changes!!! I had my last cigarette on my birthday which was March 24th with the help of Chantix. And have joined the bariatric program to get healthy. My oldest is 8 and we have things to do. I need to be there when my babies graduate and get married and have babies of their own. I'm all done being the mom who sits by on sidelines. I want to get in there live. I want to run around my kids without getting winded and get them into a more active lifestyle so they don't have to face the obstacles I am now.
I can be kind of whiny when I get scared. Sometimes I may need a little tough love. I am very open minded but can serve up a dose of truth like anyone else. Keep in mind my words are not meant to be harsh. Just true without all that sugar coating.
I hope to get support and encouragement. Answers to my questions and concerns and hope that I can do the same for you.
