kids say the funniest things

In my art class we discuss lines and the students have to give examples. One of my first grade boys says,"You are a good example Miss Walker!"
"How am I an example?"
"Well when you were fat, you were HORIZONTAL, now that you grew taller you're VERTICAL!"

I love it! Only in the eyes of a child do you grow taller, not loose weight!
