Dear Wanda, I hope this is not offensive to you. But I'd like to tell you what I have to do when I feel like things will never be better and only get worse. There's an old hymn you may know it "TUrn Your Eyes Upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace." Whatever you focus on will get bigger and bigger. If you can turn your attention to what you have to be grateful for, if you can praise God and Thank Him, He will get bigger and your problems and pain will seem smaller. I don't mean to sound preachy, but sometimes it's all I have to cling to. And God is so faithful. I'm sending this note to you with a prayer of support and comfort. God loves you so much, just the way you are. You were created beautifully and wonderfully in His image. Love and prayers, Melanie Ingle

Dear Wanda, I always remember the people who post with a kind heart and no other agenda than to offer love and support. That is how I remember you. I hope you can always know how well loved you are. I know how devastating it is to regain some of that lost weight, but please remember, it's only a number. Your weight cannot define your soul or your heart, any more than the color of your eyes or the number of inches tall you are. It's only a number. You are so much more than that. Hugs from Carole

Your friend Perry Fender has let us know that you are going through a rough time. I wanted to let you know that I will pray for you and hope that you are feeling better soon. Life is tough (with or without this surgery), but you are tougher! Remember that and pray for peace. Thank you for always giving support to the people on these boards and know that we are thinking of you.

Wanda, thinking good thoughts for you. I know we all can't be cheerful and carefree 100% of the time. There are many bumps in the road of life and occasionally we come across a real pothole.
