I am new to this forum. I have been reading the encouraging posts and am eager to meet Dr. S. I wish I could afford to go in June to Miami.  So, if someone could share with me.their experience or opinion.  I still have thirty pounds to go before having surgery.  It will leave me about 2.5-3 months for my body to adjust to the weight.  Is that enough time before surgery? 

I sent Dr. S my pics on Friday. Just waiting to hear back from him.  Any advice or comments? Has anyone gone down alone? I'm not sure if I will have anyone to go with me. I may ask a friend.
