I have come from the doctor and heard the words I never thought I'd hear - you are too thin!?!?  I have lost 110lbs and feel better than I have ever felt in my life - reaching out to felllow OH'ers on this topic. Went from size 18-20 to a size 6 - have no chest and hanging thighs - considering augmentation...what do others think who have had it??? Afraid to gain, am 12 months out - feedback?
 

everyone on the sight who supported me through the post op trials and losing my Dad the week after surgery - especially reading Major Mom's blog and theworldaccordingtoeggface for recipes...I can not believe that I am a size 10; I feel great other than getting dizzy when I stand up and feel blessed to have had this positive change in my life.

Thanks for my friend and former employee, Joshua, for turning me on to Ideal Health's nutrition bars and best of all the lime chili puffs...it is so great to have access to great tasting protein products. I have actually signed up to market the products - company is Ideal Health, soon to be called The Trump Network - yes HE gave it his stamp and invested in the company...if anyone wants more info you can email me....great stuff and great vitamins too!

I have had 2 experiences of pants almost falling off since my surgery...found a store in Phila called JOMAR where I was able to get new Jones NY jeans for $3.99 - down two sizes since surgery and 38-40 lbs depending on the day. Having a hard time getting my butt in gear to exercise, lots of hip pain and pain in my lower right leg/calf and foot and do get hungry often....
I really need to hit a support group meeting this month and stay connected....while I am losing, I feel like I am holding my breath waiting for a shoe to drop...that I am not doing all the right things and fear not being able to maintain when I read blogs of others...

pick me up from the floor - lost my Dad and biggest supporter one week to the day of my surgery...came home and he said, "you don't need this s___!" - I was his caretaker. I miss him more than words can express - my wls surgery was a success - keeping track and trying to stay healthy and strong.

I had such a good wls surgery experience at Einstein with Dr. Dallal and his team --- so far, it has been just wonderful...walking, sipping and smiling!!!

I am so thrilled -  my mri/stress tests came back ok so I am now cleared for surgery - having it on 2/5 at Einstein Elkins Park. PreOp diet not bad...getting house ready for company coming to stay with Dad (89yo) and sons while I am in hospital. Bought my first "post op" dream outfit - a size 14 Anne Klein suit (couldn't pass it up for $39 at Jomar, great local discount store)...have lost about 5-7 lbs...wish I didn't have to cook for everyone, hardest part is being in the kitchen right now.

see cardiologist tonight --- what a bummer - five days before surgery and already into pre op ---

yeah - finally around the corner - what a surprise today to get a date that is exactly two weeks away...it will fly!

Thanks to the terrific people at Mercy Health in Darby,PA for opening the door to their bariatric exercise program with Barb Bunting - what a great program and a chance to meet other pre and post ops! I will be having my surgery at another hospital but these people were so welcoming to an "outsider" - I would highly recommend the Mercy Program based on their pre op and support programs! Classes are Mon and Wed nights ---- one more test this week and then the magic date!!!!
