I had originally lost 100 lbs, but gained 18.6 back. The sleeve really is a tool and not a miracle! Since my surgery, I have been through a divorce and my dad had a terrible hunting accident. He had a stroke on his way up to his deer stand and fell 15 feet. He is permanently paralyzed from the chest down and only has partial use of his right arm. So looking back, 18 lbs isn't going to be the end of my journey. I am logged back in to this site for motivation and accountability!

I am getting my tentative surgery date next week, and I was told I have to be on the pre-op diet for 2 weeks before surgery. I am terrified. That is where I have failed diets in the past. I do really well at eating in moderation, then after a few days, I am STARVING and make up for food I feel I "lost" :( I am nervous, but I know I CAN do this!
