Last work day before Surgery!

 This is my last day at work before surgery & I'm really not wanting to be here! There's so much more at home that I need to be doing! LOL!

I've gotten some negativity about my surgery today & I'm still not quite sure how to respond to the text messages. I had one lady beg me not to have it because I was going to die.  Of course, she's a long distance buddy- and hasn't been here with me during my struggle to become healthier before going down this route.  I realize this is a tool to help me in my journey & not a quick fix it....I just wish I could put into words what I want to say to her, hopefully by the weekend I can!! 

Have any of you had negative comments before surgery?? I understand their concern, but I would like their blessings instead of the negativity....oh well, this too shall pass!
