10 years later

Hi, well....8/2/2011 was my 10 year annivesary for my Gastric Bypass.  I am still a size 10, but I have gained about 10 to 12 lbs since I last wrote.  I have not been exercising, which is why I have gained the weight.  I am trying to get my head back into it, but I need to be made to work out.  I know, I should at 54, almost 55, not have to be made to do anything, but...exercise was never anything I wanted to do.

When I had a trainer, I had to go...paid if I didn't go, why waste the money.  I had to, for financial reasons, stop the trainer, so here we are!

8 years now...

May 14, 2009

Well, August 2 will be 8 years since my surgery.  I am down to 125 on my scale, 130 on my new GP's.  I'll take it!  I am between a size 8 and a 10.  WOW, I still love looking at those sizes!  I can't believe it's me sometimes when I look in the mirror.  But, there always is a but, and mine is my butt.    It's bigger than I would like, so are my thighs.  I should have had a thigh tuck instead of the tummy tuck.  That was done between 5 & 6 years ago I think.

I still am very happy I had the surgery, just dumping is still a drag.  I was dumping a lot, sometimes we never learn, but lately I've been better.  I can eat most anything, it's the combinations of different foods that get to me.

Hi there.  I haven't been able to log into OH for a bit.  But, here I am.  Please let me know where you all live, close proximity is good enough for now.  Maybe we can chat online, or phone or meet somewhere for a group discussion.
