I started considering WLS early this year. My niece had Bypass surgery 7 years ago, and went thru some bad times with it, so I really didnt want to have that. I have struggled for most of my life with my weight, and am absolutely totally tired of obsessing about food and the consequences when I eat it~ So, I was browsing around the web and came across VSG, the answer! I started the process with my surgeon, with the glum advice that my insurance company would probably not approve it. Never one to quit, I decided to go forward with the testing and submit for the VSG....! Whatever happens, I will fight for this..........Im fighting for my health and well being for the rest of whatever years I left! The journey has just begun!
