Let us thank God for those people who take pleasure in helping others. No task is too small for them, and they rejoice in doing good. They do not seek any reward, except for making life richer and easier for their fellowmen. To forget about yourself in the service of others, is the path to a full and satisfying life. Find somebody who is in need. A lonely person might welcome friendship; someone who is confused will appreciate an understanding listener; a single mother might welcome a responsible child-minder so that she can go out for an evening. There are so many different ways in which to help. while you are helping others, you will receive a rich blessing as your reward. Every good deed that is performed in the Name of Christ bestows a blessing on both the donor and the receiver. Most of all, it brings glory to His Name.
