It has been 6 years and I have maintained 80 lbs loss. although I haven't hit the 100 I am still proud of maintaining for 6 years. I have change the way I eat dramatically. I eat gluten free and dairy free. I am working on lowering my sugar and increasing fruits and veggies. I love fruit but it does create gas pains so I eat small doses. I try to get all my veggies in but find it is impossible. I have come across a great product to help bridge this gap called Fruit Plus this is a whole food not supplement so I get 17 fruits and veggies in a tablet twice a day. This has made a huge difference In how I feel. I started to lose some weight too(BONUS). They also carry a a plant based shake that is really good. It is a life long journey and everyday bring new beginnings. I am about to turn my world upside down. My hubby and I have decided to move to TN and are totally starting over. Our kids are grown and we are ready for a new life. I want to encourage all those who are thinking of this or who have done the surgery; Dont give up! Life is hard. Take it one day at a time. I have no regrets in starting this path. The surgery has allowed me feel in control of my diet and life. Confidence to make life changing choices for the better.
