I have decided to have wls after many tries at loosing weight and gaining it all back, I am now at my heaviest and really need to do something about it, I have recently been diagnosed with type II diabetes, which scares me....so it is perfect timing for me to do this,
My family has been very supportive (a bit nervous) of my decision. and I have a wonderful friend (and co-worker) who is having wls done also, which will be great to have someone go throgh all of this with who will understand everything too. I am excited and a little nervous too, right now I am on a wait list for the surgery, all the pretest are complete, just waiting on a date, I believe it will be in May or June, 08... I sure wish they would give us a date :-)
I have really enjoyed reading the message boards, they are very helpful and encouraging.
