I still think I am big. I just can't get it outta my head. But take a look at this! Before and after. Now I see it, I just hope my brain registers it. LOL I am so happy that I made the choice to have RNY. This has been the best thing ever.  

Well, what to say? I am just about at my goal weight. I have never felt better. I am 145lbs now. Down about 130 lbs. I wonder how much more I will lose? I still think I am fat in my brain. I still have to look in the mirror for it hit me. I am sure thiss will pass in time. I hope you are all doing well out there.

I still think I am fat in my head but I guess not as I am being told I need to stop losing weight. I am in juniors clothes and some misses. Here is a recent pic from Halloween.

I am down almost 95 lbs now. Wow! I still can't believe it. I wear a size 8-10. Here is a recent picture of me with my friend Bob at his 50th birthday.

I am down just about 65 lbs. What a change this has been! I have been riding a bike and walking all over town when I am on my breaks at work. I want to go to the gym but I am still nervous about it. My friends are amazed. My husband is worried I am going to leave him. I don't know what else to say except I am just so happy I had WLS!!!!

I had my surgery on March 17th! St. Patty's Day. No problems and as of now I am down 8 lbs since Tuesday. 20 lbs down since pre op. I am still hurting so I am on pain meds but I am hoping it will be gone by 1 week post op. That is it for now as my comp is having issues.

It has been a long time since I updated. It has all went so fast. December 11 Th I went to the seminar. I quit smoking that same day. Then I took care of all my testing and had to hand deliver it on Feb 5Th for my consultation. I met with the dietitian on Feb 11Th. I got my approval on Feb 26Th and they call me Feb 27Th with my date for surgery. It is March 17Th. St. Patrick's Day!! How lucky is that? I have to start a special liquid diet on Monday. I am nervous but very happy. I was scared because I have seen so many get denied and the first time I was approved. I still can't believe it.

Today I got the approval notice from the Doctor to see the surgeon. I am so excited that I am on my way to being a healthy weight. I am going to call on Monday and make my first appointment. WOOOHOOO!!!

I have been wanting to do this for a long time. My PCP put in a referral for me to the WLS surgeon. My PCP has put me on a diet right now of 2 tablespoons of food at each meal. So 6 tablespoons a day total and a multi-vitamin everyday. He said I should lose weight on my own and shrink my stomach. We will see.
