Hi All! I am now over four months post op and doing great. As of this morning I have lost 77 pounds. I am down from a size 24/26 to a 16. I still have a ways to go, but the good news is that I will never be back there again. This surgery was the best thing I could have ever done. I am a person who can do anything except control the weight and now I can control that. Isn't this wonderful? I hope everyone is doing great.

Hi All! It has been over ten weeks and I finally stepped on the scales last week and I have lost 57 pounds. I am so excited. This surgery was the best thing I could have ever done. Thank to my Angel, Mary Ann, for opening the door for me.

Yippee!!!! Can you believe, Denise got on the scale today, and after all the temptations of Thanksgiving, she has still lost (drum roll) a total of 43 pounds in seven weeks. Not only that, she has lost 10 pounds in the last WEEK! ATTAGIRL! your angel....Mary Ann Coon

Hi All, I am now 40 days post op and doing great. Trying new foods all the time and now have a little bit of a variety to eat. I can now eat chicken, salads, fruit, and bread, still can't eat pasta (rice or noodles). At my last doctors visit I had lost 32 pounds which was last thrusday, and I feeling good. I see the weight lose in my clothes, watch, and jewlery but I personnally can't see it in the mirror. I guess the mind has to catch up with it. I still have my bad days, but they are getting few and far between. Thanks to everyone for their support, especially to my Mother and Father-in-law, they are the greatest! Have a wonderful Day!

Hi Everyone, I am 18 days post op and doing great. No pain at all and doing good. I have lost(the last time I checked, which was last thrusday) 22 pounds. I am really getting use to the water and Jello. I just have to realize that I can't guzzle the water like before. I am very stubborn when it comes to that. Other than that I am doing great. This was one of the best things I have ever done for myself. Have a great day!!

Hi Everyone! I would like to thank you all for your support and visits. I know I was out of it, but I still remember the nice people who visit. I am doing great. I am on my 4th day of post op and my Mother-in-law is going home tomorrow because I am doing so well. I feel great! I am not having much pain. I stopped taking the pain meds this morning and simpling doing with tylenol at night. I am having a good time eating my broth and jello. Although I still have a problem of it not filling me up and I continue to be hungary, but I found out that is normal. Being on a liquid diet it goes through faster and therefore you are hungary more often. No biggie, I can deal. I am just looking forward to pureed food beginning on Wednesday. I have reached the other side, WOOOOOHOOOOOOOO! Thanks goes out to all and especially to my angel, Mary Ann. God Bless. Denise

Denise- I am so glad to hear that your doing so well. I am hoping to get to see on at support group on the 12th. It was nice to have met you and your mother-in-law the other day (eventhough you were pretty much out of it.) Take care. Barb
