Dawn, Hi, my name is Beth Ann and Dr. Sherer did my surgery on 12/7/01. I had an open RNY. Your sister has been a big help to me even though I have never met her, so I know she will be a wonderful angel and a great help after surgery! I wish you all the good fortune that is going to come your way. I know how skeptical you can feel about this surgery because I was very unsure it would work for me. However, I have lost 27 pounds in a little over 5 weeks and I am very excited! I know you will be a great success story! Best wishes!

I wish you all good things!! Best decision I have made for years (my wife too!!) We both had wls in 2001. She has lost 85 lbs and I have lost 125. You can do it too.
