Long Road Cut Short

It looks as though I will not be having the surgery. My insurance has an exclusion where it will not pay for any wls. I can not afford the out of pocket expense. I am very disappointed because this is my last option. My pcp has tried most anything. I can't take pills cause I have a mitral valve prolapse and they race my heart and give me the jitters. Maybe he can figure out something else. I will stay on here because no matter what I decide to do you all are very inspiring to me.
The First Step On A Long Road

Today, Aug. 25,2008, I started my journey. I went to see my PCP and he told me there should be no problem with me having WLS. I haven't got an appt. with a surgeon yet but I hope to soon.
