Once the surgery was done his demeanor changed and he is very attentive. His nurses and office staff are the best! He expects you to be at your follow-up appointments. He is there for you 100%. There is an aftercare program with a monthly support meeting with the absolute best staff through Innovative Weight Loss Solutions at Geary Community Hospital Junction City, Ks. Dr. Hachem makes sure you understand the procedure(RnY)by drawing a diagram and explaining everything that is going to happen. He makes sure you are aware of and understand and have considered the risks. Overall, once you get past the \"stand offish\" demeanor that is actually business like concern at the initial appointment and get to the true person, he is very caring and attentive and supportive. I think it is important to have both surgical competence, which he definately does and a good bedside manner. Beyond his attentiveness the \"beside manner\" has to be pulled out of him.
