back on the road to recovery

 I went to the hospital today to have a EGD done to check to see what my stoma and pouch was doing. On the way home I asked my husband what the MD had said. Hubby says that the MD was very rude and condescending, stated that there was nothing wrong with his surgery that I obviously had a behavior problem with eating.  . He stated that my pouch was mildly dilated (what ever that means) and that i had GERD. I am extremely disappointed. I know in my heart that my pouch is enlarged. I can eat a whole bakers roll with cheese it in to feel full. 

I remain impulsive still which is an ongoing issue. I had gone shopping to try to eat better. I also placed a call to a bariatric surgeon in Adirondacks that does the duodenal switch. We will have to see how this goes.
