"My first impression of Dr. Greenbaum was that he was a caring, very knowledgeable individual. He wants to make sure that you understand what your options are and will take the time to explain anything to you and answer any questions that you have. He is definitley a no nonsense type of doctor. He is straight to the point and doesn't sugar coat anything for you, he wants to make sure you know what you are getting yourself into!! His office staff has been nothing but kind, considerate and helpful to me any time that I have needed them for anything!! Future patients should know that he is no fool. He takes his work very seriously and means it when he tells you to do something!! He has requirements and you must meet them, he asks you to do your research and makes sure that you do it!! I love this about him. He makes sure that you do what you have to do, so that he can do his job. He is definitely not going to tolerate non-compliance. Love that about him!!! He is extremely adamant about after care. He wants you to be sure that you stay in touch, keep up with the monthly support group, be on top of your appointments and lab work!! I know that I am comfortable with him being my surgeon!!! He knows what he is doing, he goes to WLS conferences and is very skilled in the DS surgery!! I am completely comfortable with him doing my surgery, he is one of the top/best WLS surgeons in the US!! Not sure about his bedside manner, I have not experienced that as of yet. As long as he is competent in his line of work, his bedside manner is not a major factor for me. I don't need someone to hold my hand and oooohhh and aaahhh over me, I need someone who is going to do their job and do it right."
