"The only thing I did not LOVE about Baptist was that they had a policy not allowing children under the age of 12 to visit, but my husband asked the nurses and they did allow my 3 year old to visit as long as she was in my room and well behaved. That policy though did stress me a little bit because I knew how hard it would be for my husband to find someone to watch her. But the staff were FABULOUS for working with him. I had no complications and the nurses and surgeon were sensitive, knowledgeable, and very compassionate when taking care of me."
"12 Days out from my RNY Bypass. Dr Friedman & his staff have been amazing. They are very straight-forward and have a long term approach towards your success. You can tell right off whether you will like his approach if you attend the free "Meet the Surgeon" seminars they do every month so you don't have to waste an office visit to get some general information from them. His nurse, Jennifer is a WLS patient herself who will actually call you back, normally the same day, to answer any questions you might have. I had to drive about an hour each way for each appointment and the surgery, SO WORTH it! My surgery went off with no complications. I was up and around the same day walking. All my incisions are perfectly healing. I feel great and am so glad I made the decision to see Dr. Friedman."
