Well after reflecting on my surgical options and what realy frightened me I have rescheduled my surgery with Dr Veninga for March 27th. Its not the RNY or even the fact that its an open RNY that frightened me, it is my unreasonable fear of surgery in general, any type of surgery.

I am postponing my surgery. At the hospital today I became un-nerved at the idea of general anestesia and open surgery. Just to many bad memories from to many recent surgeries. I am going to start over with a new surgeon and persue a lap. RNY , and request an epidural instead of general anestesia . Thanks for everyones support . Dina Raley
