Officially "post op"

SO IM OFFICIALLY POST OP!!!  I had surgery exactly 1 week ago tomorrow. November 13th 8:00AM was my lucky date. I staid in the hospital overnight and was discharged at 3pm the next day. EASY PEASY.  The doctors and nurses were all so lovely I didn't want to leave...except I missed my independence and my own bed.  

Before I knew it I was out like a light before they even did a countdown. Next thing I knew I was in the recovery room with my surgeon calling my name telling me those beautiful words "wake up your surgery went so well" . I longed to hear that because I had a terrible terrible fear that I was not going to wake up after going under. But God saw different. I'm very grateful and thankful for this journey that I've been anticipating and researching for over a year now. I'm excited about my future and all the things I have to look forward to as the NEW me.
