Guess my story is pretty typical, started gaining weight after my 4th child was born. I've tried the various routines/diets and considered the lapband but didn't qualify through my insurance, and didn't think I was enough overweight or ill enough to fight them on it. Recently my daughter started talking about the gastric sleeve and the benefits of it over other options. I became interested esp when I found out we could self pay and by pass any insurance red tape! So long story short, we're doing the surgery together on June 4th and are both getting excited about being more healthy!
