It's time!!
May 26, 2010
Well the day is almost here. My daughter and I will leave Friday AM for Mexico and be sleeved on Saturday!!! YEA!! The time has gone fast but am so glad it's here. I'm ready and I think she is too.
Our families are supportive and want to lose weight with us by eating healthier. So have some new recipes that will be tried out when I can try them too. Otherwise my pantry is stocked with lots of good protein.
I want to learn yoga to strengthen my body and tighten muscles so am checking into that. I'd also love to learn some fast dance steps after losing some weight. My daughter is learning to play golf for more exercise. Something she and her husband can do together.
I'll give an update after we get back!

Well, I've had to change my surgery date due to a conflict with one of my jobs. But it worked out ok with my daughter who is also going thru with the surgery at the same time I am. So now we're scheduled for May 29th.
I have some concerns but not about the surgery itself. This website has been so good to show support and answer the questions!! The things I'm thinking now are more of the longer term post-op period. I'm 50 years old so am wondering if my skin will hang and sag on my face, neck etc. Or maybe tighten up a little over time. The after pics here are amazing and I'm hopeful to do as well as most of you have! Either way, loose neck or not, I'm gonna "get er done"!
