Donna R.
My mother had to put me on my first diet when I was 10 months old. Most of the time during my childhood I wore "Husky" size clothes. My weight was up and down with the different diets I tried but mostly up, always more with each weight gain. For the last twelve years my weight has not been under 250. I've avoided pictures and full length mirrors, I can't stand to see what I look like in vivid color.
I have several co-morbidities and health issues. Started with chronic depression as a child, then hypothyroidism, cholesterol and trygliceride problems, blood pressure issues, sleep apnea and now diabetes for the last six years. Recently I was diagnosed with interstitial cystitis. PAINFUL!
I'm seeking WL surgery because I'm ready to be healthy. That won't happen carrying around 120+#'s of toxic sludge. I can't do it myself, I need help.
