From 3-15-10 to 7-19-10

Jul 18, 2010

Hello out  there.. Been a few weeks since have written here. Thanks for reading about my journey, it's been a trip for sure. Least started out near 273 and today it is 230.0  What a good feeling to see the weight finally leaving and hearing
people notice. They say the sweetest comments. Makes everything worth it.
Finally in the routine of getting up, making a protein shake, then taking the 3 kids chewable multi-vitamins and one B-1 pill daily and always take them before 10:00am each day. After that around noon then it's the 1st dose of Calcium Citrate, I use UpCal D .. it as to be order and taken 3 times a day and 2 hours apart.. Through out the day I then take various other meds and vitamins. I was on 3 shots of insulin novalog and 1 shot in the evening of lantis. As of today only need one shot in the evening of Lantis 30untis. No other shots needed. Cant tell you how happy that feels to get off 3 and 1 to go!! In time I'm sure I'll be off that one to. I have lost about 20inches in different places the biggest being at the waist.
I am starting to shed some hair hair but was told to take up to 2500  m'grams of Biotin so hoping that helps going through this process. Still I wouldnt change a thing, glad the surgery was done. I can walk and breathe so much easier every day.  Just think that is like carring 4-- 10pound bags of potatoes around your neck, then suddenly gone in a few weeks...around 9 weeks.
May everyone that is struggling with weight and a mind thinking this cant happen, Believes!! Believe it Baby it's all real. There is a new you in there. Yes you eat 2 ounces of food but increases over time. I am now up to 3 ounces and bigger selection of food to eat. Just keep in mind to start with you dont even want to, least I didn't. So eating 2 ounces is a lot to you!!  Trust me the hardest thing to do is getting down the liquid. Just get down what you can do and it also gets easier with time. Hang in there and know everyone must crawl before they can WALK.
If you want to talk please send a message and will try and get ahold of you. You have a friend and are not ALONE.
Good Luck on your own journey. To myself,,,,one day at a time Lisa...one day at a time......
