You know what the old Cajun has to say. There's nothing more I can offer in encouragement but that we love you and will keep you in our prayers.

Hi Gina! :) I know this is a very stressful and weird time, before surgery, but please remember that most of us went through this same emotional rollercoaster. It is so normal. It is so exciting, yet scary and emotions just hit you and then another set come up and hit you, etc. I found peace and comfort and total commitment and readiness on my surgery date---none of which I thought would ever come to me!!! Hang in there and know we are all there for you! :) Remember why you are doing this and that you will do great! :) Keep the faith, stay strong and focused on what the positive outcome will be. We are all here for you!!! :) After surgery each day gets better and better as time goes by. :) It isn't as bad as you think! Honestly! :) My very best to you!!! GOOD LUCK! Michelle :)

Hi Gina! Congratulations on your surgery date! This scripture has meant so much to me on my WLS journey. Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD , "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." I pray that you will claim this promise as your own as your journey takes you to a new healthier life. God Bless You!

Hi Gina, Thank you so much for doing my profile,I just got on and saw it.It is perfect.I love it. Good luck on your surgery, you will do just fine, I am not even one week out and just sore right now. Not taking any paing medication at all. Tastes too nasty if you ask me.Just remember to get up and walk, walk, walk, and also to use the breathing thingie they give you to boost your lung capacity. It hurts a little at first, but just inhale a little and build up, I did and I am back to where I was.Love and Hugs Erika
