I finally got approved.

I have my consult booked for March 5th to see Dr L in Michigan, I am really excited to meet him and see what he can offer me.

I will keep you posted.

My doctor signed the papers, i sent them to ohip and now i wait.

I have to admit now i am a little scared/nervous .. it is almost like a death when your dealing with life change.. how does one say good-bye to "the old" and hello to "the new", I feel i will be in a mourning peroid, I am such a social person,  that is just who i am and food is part of me, will i still be able to be me without the weight and food to hide behind??

Losing weight is so much more than just a few pounds, gaining all this weight has taken time, effort, sacrifice, I have relied on my weight to hide .. I will be so exposed...I have to find another outlet to channel my pain, pleasure.. food is my friend and enemy i love it i hate it.

Will i be different? I hope not .. I love me!

God help me because this will be the most challenging thing i have ever done in my life.

Thanks to everyone who has helped me get started, I have completed all my forms and in the process of writing my letters and hopefully but the end of the week i will have it all sent to OHIP, Just pray that my Doctor signs the papers.
