Update:

Oct 21, 2009

I haven't posted for a while, but I am doing well. I have slowed down on my weightloss but that is okay... I am now 14 months out and I have lost 155 lbs and I am a size 8. I  keep changing my goal to 140 and a size 7/8. I think that if I had my Panni now, I would be at my goal in size anyways, maybe not lbs in #'s. But, I feel that if I am a healthy 7/8, then I am not going to worry about the #'s especially when muscle weighs 3x as much as fat. I am still having migraines, which I have been fighting for several years now. Thanks for stopping by!! :D

The Nu Me...

May 17, 2009

I just wanted to add a quick post and let everyone know how I am doing... I am right at 9 months out and I am down 126lbs. I went from size 26 to a 12/14 in pants and 12/14 and some 14/16 or Large in shirts... I never thought I would come this way. My goal is still a ways off, but I look at size not so much pounds. I would like to be around 140, but as long as I am a healthy 8/10 that would be great! I think I can easily get to about 160lbs and then once I have my breast reduction and tummy tuck ( if I am approved) then I think the other 20lbs or so will come off... I am able to bend over and tie my shoes which is a great feeling. That is not something that I have always been able to do or do without being completely out of breath... Its such a great feeling!! I feel so thankful for being able to have the surgery and do well from it. I feel like my new life is a blessing and I am trying to be thankful and treat it as a blessing. I know there are ppl out there that would love to have the surgery but cant for one reason or another... So, I am trying to take advantage of my new life and life style and enjoy life the best that I know how...

Thanks for coming by my page and look at my pictures every now and then and leave a message or a comment..

One Of My Most Proud Days...

Mar 17, 2009

I started out at 324 lbs. I always said once I hit 300# then I would have some sort of wls. I didnt get big until I started having kids. But, I was an emotional eater. I hit my first goal which was 100lbs in 5 months. I was so happy!! Now, I am more focused on size, toning and being healthy and feeling good. I am now 7 months out and 110lbs down. I am a size 14-16. I feel really good and blessed to have been able to have this surgery. I know there are ppl that cant afford it or their insurance doesnt cover it. If anyone is considering it, I would say that I would have the surgery 100X over again even with some of the complications I had. Which was having to have my gall bladder removed. Other then that, I did really well. I would have it removed at the time of surgery if possible. Because there is no sense in waiting and having to go back for another surgery and take off more time from work and family. I would also stress take your protein and vitamins. If you have any questions or just want to chat feel free to leave me a message and I will get back to you.

I HAVE LOST 100 LBS!!!

Feb 08, 2009

I am very excited, as of today I have lost 102 lbs! I cant believe it!?! It has been an amazing experience. I dont regret having the surgery one bit. I had some bad times with my gall bladder and some dumping and constipation issues, but nothing anyone else didnt experience. I would have this surgery 100 times over if I had too. I have a much higer self esteem about myself and I am a much happier person all around. I have lost some "SO CALLED" friends, but if they were really my friends, then I guess I wouldnt of lost them, right??

I am now focusing not just on my weight #, but feeling and being healthy and being a size that is good for me. My goal size is an 8. But, if I dont hit that then that will be okay too. I am becoming more and more happier with myself and the goals that I have reached. I am reaching for the stars and noone can stop me now!! Thanks for stopping by and if you want to know more or be my friend, hit me up with a message .... I am also always looking for good receipes...

Update Jan. 28th 2009

Jan 27, 2009

I had RNY on Aug. 12th, 2008. I had my Gall Bladder out in October. Since, then I have lost 95lbs in 5.5 months. I feel great!! I have my frustrions when I dont see the scale move. I have been in a stall for over a month now, but I do know that I am losing inches and that is just as good as losing lbs. I feel alot better about myself. I never knew how UNhappy I was as a person until I started losing weight. I did have some dumping and every once in a while I get a sweet tooth, but I try to eat an orange or something. I have more of a hardtime exercising, but for xmas my sons got a weight bench and we all use it. I do have a treadmill, but get bored with it. So, I try watching tv while exercising. This is the best thing I have ever done for myself and would do it 100x over again!! Take a look at my pictures and leave some comments. Have a great day!!
