Wow! I can't believe how fast it has gone! I am getting ready to head back  to work for another school year! I am excited about my progress! I am down 55 pounds and am excercising 4 days a week( and liking it!!). So thrilled i decided to take this journey- am so pleased!! So many great changes already!!

My first appt. went great!! I was down 14ibs!!! They basically told me to continue what i was doing- i have two more weeks of soft foods- i seem to be handling it okay. I feel great- i plan to return to work on friday. I only have to work one week then i am off for the summer!! yippee! So far I am thrilled with my progress!!!

Well, I made it! Each day has gotten better. I am really trying to keep track of my fluids and protein. Doing well so far. I had a great experience in the hospital- staff was wonderful! Had very little pain- have not had pain meds since morning of discharge Sat. Just some soreness. My first post op appt is on Tues 6/16- we'll see how I'm doing then! Thanks for all the prayers- it feels good to be on this side! 

Hello- I have mostly been lurking for months now- waiting my turn. My surgery is scheduled for tomorrow at 7:30 am. I am so excited and also nervous- it has been a long process. Almost a year. I am so excited to be starting my journey and begin a healthier lifestyle for me and my beautiful family. Wish me luck.....
