Surgery date...right around the corner...

Hey guys...
Its been a while since I updated this thing. I do however come and see what everyone has been up to.
I have my surgery scheduled for February 16th. I am super excited to start a new phase in my life. It was originally scheduled for March 8th and was changed due to a cancellation. Which is great news for me.
I am getting nervous as the minutes go by. I will try and keep you guys updated once I have surgery.
Cant wait.

Update....getting closer to an appt...

I havent updated this in a while....
We recently moved to Northern CA. I had to start the process all over. It appears that Kaiser has different procedures. I finally got my appointment with my primary doctor. She referred me in a heartbeat. I had to explain to her everything I had been though.
On Sept 15th, I went to a 4 hours class and my husband went with me. He has gone to every appointment. We saw a video of the procedure. That same week, I saw the doctor and he advised me of how much I need to lose. I started at 259lbs. He said I have to get down to 240.
On Sept 28th, I started to diet and today I weigh 250....down 9 lbs. Once I get to 245lbs, I have to schedule my psych appt. This is going much faster than I had planned.
In December, we are going to Mexico for a month. I am nervous about that....temptation. But I know that I can do it. My dr. said that once I get to 240, I can schedule my surgery date. So we will see....
I am so excited...and nervous.
