Hello my name is Elizabeth. I am 33 years old from NYC. I was born in the Bronx, grew up in Brooklyn, am currently living in Manhattan. I was told about this site by a wonderful person who underwent weight loss surgery with success and cared enough to listen to and answer my questions. I have Medicaid/Community Premier Plus. My weight before surgery was 315 lbs and I am 5ft. 6in., my BMI at that weight was 50.8. I have had hypertension since I was a teenager and diagnosed with diabetes and high cholesterol last year. As I get older, I am most concerned with my health, and am hoping that weight loss surgery will improve things. I am very excited, but also very nervous.
