Cyndi, I just received your wonderful words of encouragement..thank you so much you'll never know how much they meant to me. I needed some encouragement because during the last few days I was really starting to have some serious second thoughts about the surgery because of all the risks involved. I have a 10 month old son and I was terrified at the thought of something going wrong and me leaving him without a mother at such a tender age, however in the few days that have past I have realized that if I don't have this done I may not be around for him for as long as I would like to anyway. The benefits definitely outweigh the risks. I figure if I survived a c-section with a baby that was 10lbs 4 ozs I can probably do anything. Thank you again for your wonderful words of encouragement and I will do my best to keep you updated on my progress. And good luck on your journey form your profile you look as though you don't need any luck at all you're doin it girl. Talk to you soon. Adrienne

Cyndi, Sorry it took so long for my response. I am almost figuring out how to manuver around here. I am doing great and have lost 19 lbs according to the Dr. I feel almost like nothing was done and the only thing that tells me it was is that I have no appetite. I know God had his hand on me and was blessed by a lot of prayers on my behalf. Thank you for your inspiring words and prayers as well. Janice

Cyndi, Thank you so much for your words of encouragement. It is nice to know that I am not alone in this journey. I am still finding my way around here and not too good at the posts yet or how to work things...so I have just been responding to yours and other's posts through my own page. LOL. I just figured out how to write directly to yours. Oh well....I go in at 615 AM Tuesday...less than 33 hours to go. Not that I am counting....(yeah right). I am excited and just elated that this is finally going to happen. Thanks so much for your support! Lee L.

Cyndi - Thank you so much for your kind words. I read your ongoing story and am very grateful for your honesty. It wasn't easy for us to get where we are today and will definitely not be easy to get where we want to be. It is helpful to know what could be instore and what you have gone through so I won't be as scared. I have read alot of info and really researched this surgery and I am really looking forward to it but on the other hand my husband is getting a little worked up. We have only been married since June 2002 and have 6 children between us. If your husband has any advice for me to pass on it would really be appreciated.
