Cyndi, I really appreciate your encouraging words. It seems so long away before my surgery. I really hope that I can be a strong as you are. It's really inspiring to see people who really care and take the time to give other's support. I hope all is well with you and May God Bless You.

Cyndi, you must be an angel. I was surprised to see a message on my email, as I just joined this WLS site and have my surgery next month. I can't tell you how much it touched me to have someone I have never met encourage me and support me the way you did through your words. The only person who knows about my upcoming WLS is my husband, and it really helps to have someone out there who understands and has traveled that road before you. When I got to your message board and saw all the comments from others, I realized that you are truly a beautiful person to do what you do, reach out to others and share their feelings and offer support and love. That's why I said you must be an angel, sent here with a purpose. Thank you so much, I'll never forget your kindness.

Hi Cyndi! Thanks so much for being my first post - I was so excited to see the notice in my e-mail this AM. I really appreciate the kind words, and I'm encouraged to hear you say the surgery was worth it, even after all you went through! I'm so happy you made it through and can now enjoy your new life. Thank you for sharing your story and courage with the rest of us, so we can be better prepared for what awaits - the good and the not so good. Blessings to you and your family. =)Tara

Thank you so much for the kind words Cyndi! If it wasn't for people like you who keep up with their profiles and tell their stories, I wouldn't know at all what to expect. It's so great to be able to read about people's personal journey through this life changing process. It's been so helpful to me. I'm sure going to keep up with my profile and tell of my experiences post-op and hopefully help others. Thanks so much!
