Cyndi, Thank you very much for your kind words and support. It has been such a blessing to be able to talk to others that have gone through similar paths, as well as to be able to talk to those that have gone through the surgery and can honestly tell me what to expect. I know that it will not be an easy journey, but I firmly believe that all things in life happen for a reason. Each thing that we go through prepares us for our future -- good or bad. I wish you continued success. Please keep in touch!!! Hugs, Andrea B. Centreville, VA [email protected]

Hey Cyndi, Thanks for the kind words. I can tell by your messages from others that your gift is "encouragement". I have got to tell you though when I starting reading your journal, it made it a little nervous. My husband had the surgery 3 years ago and has never had a problem. I think he has thrown up maybe 3 or 4 times in 3yrs. I hope I am not being too overly optimist about my sucess. It sounds like you had many health issues before the surgery also including diabetes. I have high blood pressure and sleep apnea. I am only 85 lbs overweight. I am a believer too and I have prayed about this for a while now asking God to open or close doors if this was or was not His will. I had 3 ankle surgeries over the last 15 yrs and have not been very active which has caused a lot of the weight gain. I will keep in touch. God Bless You on your journey with your new and improved self. Teresa

Hi Cyndi, your words are most appreciated and welcomed.Although my journey is only just begining,It is the quality of people like yourself that I have met alone the way that renews my faith in life.It takes a special and unselfish person to see beyond themself and their own needs and to reach out to others.after all, time is very precious. To share it with others in need is most generous.know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.I wish you and yours health, happiness and prosperity. take care, your friend, Dan
